Oct 30, 2026

This Sunday, we’ll fall back an hour, and celebrate All Saints Sunday. In the same way that we have a consistent moment of confession, I think it’s good for us to have a consistent time to commemorate those who have gone before us. If you’re new to Central, one of the traditions of this congregation is the procession of bell banners. Each of these bells represents a loved one, a saint, whom we wish to celebrate.

We’ll also offer a “Roll Call of the Saints” and name those persons in our worshipping and Plymouth Harbor communities who died this past year. In leaving this side of life, they have joined the great cloud of witnesses that journeys alongside us each day.

Our Story for All Ages will talk about the role of stained glass in celebrating the saints, and we’ll make our own stained glass windows in Kids Space.

Finally, we’ll share in the feast of communion. For folks online, please have bread and a fruit of the vine with you.

See you Sunday,

Thomas
