Children should be seen and heard in church! We invite the youngest among us to engage in the congregation’s life through Kids Space, special services and events, worship, serving as acolytes and liturgists, and more!

Making This Faith Their Own

At Central, we hope to help you nurture a faith that allows the youngest among us to encounter a kind & loving God, and follow Jesus’ path to peace.

Kids Space is the place where your children can make “this faith [their] own!”

Because we believe that children are already part of the church, we’ve made a space just for them in our beautiful sanctuary. In this space, led by a volunteer, kids can engage all their senses in worship with crafts, stories, and conversation.

In addition to the space in the sanctuary, there is also a nook outside the sanctuary with rocking chairs, books, toys, and carpet. We invite you to use that space too. There’s even a speaker so that you can keep track of what’s happening in the Sanctuary!

Leading in worship is an important part of faith formation! We invite our children to serve as acolytes (lighting our worship candles) and as liturgists (reading scripture or the call to worship).
