Rob White, a well-known local artist, will have his 3-month art exhibit in the Commons starting on April 7th.  20% of his sales will be redirected to Central. You can meet him after 11 am worship, during Coffee, Tea and Conversation. Until then, here is what he would like you to know about him:

“Beauty. Color. Fun. I paint worlds in which I’d like to find myself.  I especially like to paint scenes from nature, where I feel happy…. Summer is my favorite season, rivers are a favorite playground, and Western Europe, where I spent much of my childhood, is a favorite destination and a favorite subject. As a child I lived in Japan,Syria, Belgium, Ireland, the Dominican Republic, and Portugal.  I have lived in Atlanta, Georgia since 1978, and have been inspired by Atlanta and Georgia scenes as well…… I have been painting since 1995 and have evolved a style of my own, with much owed to the impressionists.  I never tire of  Monet, Pissarro, Renoir and Van Gogh. ……..For many years I sold my work at Sidewalk Studio in Atlanta, and have had shows in Atlanta, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida.  Currently I have a gallery wall at Westside Market in Toco Hills, and I have works on display at the Atlanta Artists Center Gallery as part of a juried show.  My website is robertbrightmanwhitefineart.com.”.

The Commons art gallery is open Tues-Friday, 9AM-2PM.
